Talk about awful timing...
I've got a blister on the side of my second toe... whatever it's
called... the one right next to my big toe.
Anyhow, it's on the SIDE, where it apparently rubbed against my big
toe. It's not red, but it's pretty, um... FULL. Not sure if I got it
on Sunday when I did an easy 10 miles to prepare for this Saturday,
or if I got it Monday, when I did my usual 4 mile lunch. I noticed
it after lunch on Monday when changing back into my work clothes.
Anyhow, this is my first blister in almost two years of running, and
I don't know what to do about it. Does anyone have any advice? I was
really looking forward to a good run on Saturday, and I'm afraid
what this might do to my time.
P.S. Thanks to everyone who responded back in February about my
cold and the upcoming Frostbite 5K - I took the time off as was
recommended, and while I didn't set a PR at the Frostbite, I DID set
one at the Anthem 5K, besting my previous mile pace by 10 seconds!
I meant to come post this a long time ago, and never got around to
it. (I'm like that sometimes)
