SHIMMER TITLE MATCH AT ROH "RISING ABOVE!"
------------------------------------------------------------------

Ring of Honor filmed "Rising Above" for a January 2009 Pay-Per-View release this
past Saturday, November 22nd, at the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, IL.

Among the matches on the card, SHIMMER Champion MsChif put the title on the line
against former SHIMMER Champion Sara Del Rey. Sara was accompanied to the ring
by her ROH agent Larry Sweeney, who negotiated for Del Rey's rematch for the
title to take place in ROH competition, where Del Rey has been dominant in
recent months. MsChif ultimately retained the title after hitting the Desecrator
to score the pinfall.

Women's professional wrestling will be the topic of discussion on this Friday's

SHIMMER TAG TEAM TITLE NEWS UPDATE!

Reigning SHIMMER Tag Team Champions Ashley Lane & Nevaeh have now made three
successful defenses since winning the belts in the Tag Team Championship
Gauntlet on October 19th in Berwyn, IL.

They were successful on Vol. 22 against Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews, then
again at an Inanity Pro Wrestling event in Indianapolis, IN against "Sassy"
Stephie Sinclair & Hellena Heavenly, and once more at a Heartland Wrestling
Association event in Middletown, OH against Hailey Hatred & Mary Elizabeth.

Ashley & Nevaeh will now also put the titles on the line during the first
weekend of December!

The National Wrestling Alliance will present live events on Saturday, December
6th and Sunday, December 7th in the state of Michigan.

NECW & WWW IN QUINCY, MA ON 11/29 & 11/30

New England Championship Wrestling and World Women's Wrestling present back to
back days of professional wrestling on November 29th and 30th. The events take
place at the National Guard Armory, 1000 Hancock Street, in Quincy, MA.

On Saturday night, November 29 it's NECW's DOUBLE INTENSITY with a 7 PM bell
time. The following afternoon, Sunday, November 30th with a special 5 PM bell
time, it's the return of World Women's Wrestling to live action and the first
time ever a WWW card has taken place at the armory.

On Saturday night, November 29th the card will be topped by a huge 6 man tag
team main event. On one side, it will be the NECW Triple Crown Champion, "The
Mohawked Enforcer" Max Bauer, "The Real Deal" Brandon Locke and Jason Blade.
They will be facing the trio of "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion, NECW Television
Champion, Handsome Johnny and the returning Antonio "The Promise" Thomas!

The NECW Tag Team Championship will be on the line in a unique tag team gauntlet
match. The NECW Tag Team Champions, PRIDE will square off against Team Nightmare
(Evan Siks & Nick Steel), The Crown Jewels, former tag team champions "The
Rocket" Fred Curry, Jr. and Chase Del Monte and Team Nightmare's Lil' Nicky
Amaral and Frankie Vain. This will be the ultimate test for PRIDE who must go
through 4 of the top teams in NECW in one match to retain their titles.

The newly dubbed "Superstar" Ryan Matthews collides with Davey Loomis in a
return grudge match, this time under professional rules.

After what took place at the TOXIC WALTZ, the World Women's Wrestling Champion,
"The Portuguese Princess" Ariel has been ordered to face Taeler Hendrix in a
rematch for the coveted red and gold belt. The winner of this match will put the
title on the line the following afternoon against the great veteran star, Malia
Hosaka.

More matches will be announced soon20for Saturday night's card.

The following afternoon, World Women's Wresting makes it's return to live action
at the Armory in Quincy with a special 5 PM bell time.

In the main event, the winner of the World Women's Wrestling Championship Match
the night before between current champion "The Portuguese Princess" Ariel and
Taeler Hendrix will go on to face former WCW star, Malia Hosaka.

Also signed the return of World Women's Wrestling, former WWW Champion Lexxus
battles Luscious Latsha of The Soul Sistahs. "The Gorgeous Greek" Elektra Arion
returns to face Mistress Belmont. Plus Roxie Cotton battles Sammi Lane with
Handsome Johnny in her corner.

RING OF HONOR INKS DEAL WITH DIRECTV!

- First PPV Event to air on DIRECTV in early 2009

- ROH Classics to be launched on DIRECTV on Demand platform

- ROH programming now available in more than 80 MM HH


New York, November 20, 2008 - Ring Of Honor Wrestling (ROH), in association with
G-Funk Sports & Entertainment, has concluded programming and distribution deals
for PPV and VOD wrestling content with DIRECTV, making the critically-acclaimed
ROH brand available for the first time ever to approximately 17.3 million
additional American households. In total, ROH programming is now available in
more than 80 million households throughout North America.

ROH owner Cary Silkin made the announcement today with G-Funk’s President Ken
Gelman. The debut event, entitled "Rising Above," will be taped November 22 in
Chicago, Illinois from the Frontier Fieldhouse and will premiere on DIRECTV in
early 2009.

For the first time, ROH will debut "ROH Classics" on DIRECTV on Demand in early
2009. Approximately ten-hours of classic wrestling programming content from the
ROH vaults will appear monthly on the platform. The best matches, rivalries and
stars in ROH history will be featured.

"This latest programming deal with DIRECTV marks another major step in our
evolution as a wrestling company," said Mr. Silkin. "We’re excited to bring
our loyal fans more of the first-rate wrestling product they’ve come to know
from ROH over the years, and to introduce our unique brand of wrestling to
legions of new fans on the DIRECTV platform."

To date, ROH has premiered nine PPV titles since July 2007. In addition to
DIRECTV, ROH currently has distribution deals with iN DEMAND, DISH Network and
TVN in the U.S. and Viewer’s Choice and Bell ExpressVu in Canada.

Long revered by a loyal underground fan base, the Philadelphia-based ROH appeals
to the disenfranchised wrestling fan fed up with storylines that seem to take
precedence over the kind of powerful ring competition that ROH specializes in.

ROH BLACK FRIDAY SALE IS COMING!!!

This Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year, and that will include a
huge sale at ROHwrestling.com!

I don't know the specifics of this year's Black Friday Sale, but it is typically
a huge % off deal, which means it will be the perfect time to pick up any
SHIMMER DVD titles which are missing from your collection at their lowest price
ever.

Last year's Black Friday Sale % off figures changed over the course of the
weekend. From Friday morning until early afternoon, they offered the largest %
off savings. From Friday late afternoon to Saturday morning, it was a slightly
smaller % off figure. Then from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning, a smaller
% off figure.

Again, I'm not sure what the Black Friday savings will be this year, but in case
they do something similar again this year, be sure to check the ROH web site on
Friday morning to make sure you don't miss the cutoff for the biggest savings of
the weekend!
