Hey, ol'buddy! (ol' is a term of endearment, not at all a statement of,
well, you know!)
There is actually many more people not training for a marathon right now
than are. Seems like a bunch of us are picking shorter races right now.
A few of us are talking about the Platte Valley Half Marathon on April 6
or the Steamboat Half or 10k (they have a marathon too) on June 1. Then
there is also the BolderBoulder! But, just running to run or walking to
walk are great goals also!
This weekend we are considering our 'official' FIT run to be the first
race of the Winter Series tomorrow at 10am at Fox Run Regional Park. I,
personally, am going to run 9 miles on Sunday also if anyone wants to
join me. I'll say that I'll start at the bridge in Monument Valley Park
behind Colorado College and the Fine Arts Center at 8am if anyone wants
to come. If you want to do less than 9 miles, I'll run your full
distance and then keep going.
