Hi Jeff!
How did your 8 miles go? I'm signing up for that marathon, too:) Are you doing the Novice II program with Hal Higdon? That's my plan:) I ask because it recommended 8 miles on sat. but I have a child who just turned 13 on sat so I'm running TODAY!
How do you guys run in the slush??? I plan on going to the "Y" in a few minutes to get my 8 in today!!!
Thanks for initiating this. I work on sundays so cannot run in the am:(
Blessings!
Alice (the lurker)

I need to run 8 miles tomorrow - I started a new program this week to
train for the Colorado Marathon - and I'd love to have anyone join me.
Let's start at the pedestrian bridge that goes over Monument Creek next
to Criterium Bicycles. You can park either at Criterium or in the Mr
Biggs parking lot (NE corner). I like going up the creek first so it's
downhill coming back and if you'd like to do less than 8 miles, remember
there are now 1/2 mile markers on the trail so you can easily choose
when to turn around as whatever distance you want. 8:00am.
The hosted runs have been wonderful, but I think it's evident that we
can't keep that level of hospitality expectation up forever. How about
if we go back to just designating routes and when someone wants to host
a run they can just say what week they want to take?
