assure the packing around the stern tube is not "crumbly"; if in doubt when you purchase, have it removed and new material inserted while boat is on the

I own such a boat. These are the things i would suggest need confirmation: 1. Engine. Is it fresh water? If not plan on a refit costing at least $15000 US
