2008 Alert... Goodbye to Scott "Lefty" Kendall. Always a Friend, Never a fiend.

This is usually a Group for Lurkers, Cursers and other Fiends found at Sedgeley Woods. Talk about Disc Golf; how long it takes Phil to update the (semi-)annual photo, etc., etc. Now, however, a tribute to one of Sedgley's true Friends is in order.

This is a reminder that during the summer it is a good idea to ask around if there is an "anti-poison-Poole" willing to pair with you for Thursday Doubles. Remember, it's YOUR COURSE, so pitch in! Please continue to volunteer your time and effort. Help Friends of Sedgley become the greatest disc club ever! (What better place to officially post semi-official announcements than the Fiends board? Go FIENDS!)

Some people may forget that Thursday Doubles gave rise to Sedgley Tags and the tag challenge concept itself was "borrowed" from the RASTA BEARS!! (Who?)

Remember, 'Sad-Jolly' Woods does have a brief history of hosting many events, like Lefty's Luau, Xmas Pollyanna and New Year's Day Chili Cook-off!
