Thanks for the info on Trail Angels.  I did try them, however, with the
mountain lion incident attacking one of their members, they sent me an email
stating that they are not accepting new members at this time.  I guess the media
is
really on their butts right now.  Thanks anyway

Yeah I know give it a little time and try again, another group you
might try is SVCC-MTB on yahoo groups also. they are a Christian
group of riders, but they ride a lot also. Saddleback Mountain bike
club I believe is their full name. They also have a web sight, but I
can't seem to find the link to it. The TA's are very friendly people.
and so is svcc. The groups often ride together. But like I said give
it some time, then try again.

If you're interested up in LA you can try south bay mountain bike
club at sbmbc.com They have lots of organized rides and are corba
related, and then there's OVER THE BARS MOUNTAIN BIKING CLUB at
otbmbc.com, however they are mostly men and very aggressive with
thier riding. But they do ride a lot also.

Teia, Thanks for all the info, the Trail Angels seem to be taking in
new members now.  I work this weekend (and have the flu to boot), so
I won't be able to go on the Weekend ride this time.  But, I am
hoping to get a few people together for a ride on Tuesday at Aliso
Wood from 10-12 if anyone is interested...otherwise I'll be looking
forward to next weekend.  (I already wrangled one person into going,
so I'm going Tuesday, regardless).  Take care, and thanks again

and discussions. Personally I am a MB'er who rides recreationally
and have grown to love it more and more every day.

Well I just got engaged! Can't believe it, just last year I was beginning to
