U.S. WOMEN IN CHICAGO PREPARING FOR NEW ZEALAND MATCH ON AUG. 12 AT SOLDIER FIELD: The 2007 Send-Off Series for the U.S. Women’s National Team is winding down as the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup draws near, and the U.S. will play its second to last match before leaving for China as Gatorade presents the U.S. WNT vs. New Zealand on Sunday, Aug. 12, at Soldier Field (tickets). The match kicks off at 1p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN2. Fans can also follow the action on ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker. The USA heads into the match with its 21-player Women’s World Cup Team set after U.S. head coach Greg Ryan completed the squad on July 23 by naming the final three players. The USA will travel to its final two matches with its complete Women’s World Cup Team, although U.S. head coach Greg Ryan will suit up 18 players for each match.
