---Kasparaitis is a free agent, technically, after the end of the
season. Colorado is using him as a 'rent-an-agitator' for now--
probably with an eye on future signing(s). Still, I can envision
him (if it were a perfect world) and Darren McCarty inflicting much
damage if they were ever on a line together. Oh well...ya can't
always get what ya want.
'Course, wouldn't Kovalev & Fedorov make a nice line? Talk about

Speaking of acquisitions, I know that the Rangers are out of the
picture (or as my husband deems it: 'Rangers go down the hole...')--
but what does everyone think of the big Bure steal? If the Rangers
had gotten him earlier, i believe they would have gotten a lower-
rung playoff position (judging from Mr. B's play of late). He seems
to fit in with the Broadway Blues. Thoughts, anyone?
