Still looking through the chart you posted. If the Grizz have an
attendance problem, IMO it's not due to the arena (even though
management feels a new one has to be built). The Memphis Pyramid is
a huge place which can fit huge crowds, fans may not have been coming
because of all the losing the last few years (and even before that).

I'm personally dubious, Bonzi Wells like many of the Portland
players seemed mostly a disciplinary problem. Now so far he has been
playing well for Memphis (maybe going against the Blazers motivated
him), Hubie Brown and Jerry West obviously feel they know what
they're doing and that Wells can be rehabilitated. Just hope they
didn't give away the farm for him in a "conditional" pick, as Stu
Jackson did for Otis Thorpe, though Brown and West have much more
basketball knowledge than Jackson ever did.
