Please help Serie A fans in Singapore   Message List

Hello everyone!

My name is Farah, I'm from Singapore and I'm new here. I'm actually
posting to ask for your kind help for your fellow Serie A fans in
Singapore.

Now here's the story:

In Singapore, we are at the mercy of this ONE cable company. We've
had Serie A coverage for the past... about five years, at least, and
this year, the cable company decides the cost of broadcasting is too
high and they will no longer broadcast Serie A on channels we are
already paying for. (Not to mention our market is saturated with EPL
and La Liga coverage.) Even worse, the cable company didn't even
have the courtesy to inform us of this cancellation - they just
assumed nobody will notice.

So us Singaporeans here went on a campaign last week to get the
press to cover this story and expose the cable company for their
wily ways and our efforts came to fruition in Sunday's paper - you
can read the article here:
http://newpaper.asia1.com.sg/sports/story/0,4136,94047-
1125935940,00.html?

Now, I've started an online petition for the cable company to
NEGOTIATE TO AN AGREEMENT and it's important that they see for
themselves how much support Serie A has in Singapore and around the
world! So put on your most Singaporean sides and sign the petition
here:

We need all the help we can get! Please help bring Serie A back to
Singapore!

Thank you kindly in advance!

cheers,
farah

p.s. I'm sincerely sorry if I'm cross-posting for some; I'm just
trying to reach as large a Serie A audience as possible.
