Unfortunately Inter will never really know with
Keane, whether he could have been a star or not. It's
nothing new with them, I have been following the club for
15 years and the club is a black hole for player
young and old, good and bad. No club in the world has
spent as much money as Inter over the last 10 years
with absolutely no net result of note. Whilst I
accepted that Keane was not going to be a first team
regular at Inter straight away, they should have loaned
him to a smaller Serie A club to give him some
Italian experience before deciding his future. There is
talk about Inter pulling out of the deal to sell him
to Leeds at the end of the season....why I don't
know, they know he can score goals in English football
and that's all, but they knew that when they signed
