Inter have moved to trump AC Milan for Real Madrid midfielder Emerson.
Inter coach Roberto Mancini wants to stiffen his midfield and Emerson's name
has been raised during talks with Real over their interest in striker
Adriano.
Inter president Massimo Moratti, furious over Milan's capture of Cagliari
striker David Suazo last night, is determined to get one back at their
bitter rivals by signing Emerson ahead of the European champs.
Meanwhile, Real teammate Fabio Cannavaro said of the Brazilian today: "He's
suffered in Spain. I think he will leave. He dreams of Milan."
