David Suazo is still to agree personal terms with AC Milan, despite Cagliari
accepting an £8 million cash bid for him last night, it has been revealed.
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani phoned the striker last night to
inform him of the stunning developments after Suazo had left Italy for his
summer holidays convinced he was joining Inter Milan.

president Massimo Cellino broke off negotiations with Inter on Friday,
frustrated by delays over agreeing a cash-plus-player swap for the Honduran.
Cellino met with Galliani and Milan transfers chief Ariedo Braida yesterday
afternoon and quickly settled on an?8 million fee for Suazo.
Galliani told Suazo last night how much Milan president Silvio Berlusconi
wanted to see him in the Rossoneri colours next season and that their
contract offer, which will be tabled to the player's representatives today,
will be similar to the £2.7 million-a-year deal he had agreed with Inter a
fortnight ago.
"We've been following Suazo for a year," insisted Galliani this morning.
"This wasn't about revenge on Inter. Cellino told us he had stopped talking
to Inter, so we began speaking with him.
"Have I contacted Inter? No. No-one called us about Ibrahimovic. But I
repeat, this wasn't about revenge."
