Following a successful season with the Italian champions the 34-year-old
former Barcelona and Real Madrid star reneged on his expected move to
Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia after he claimed breach of contract.

He was then linked with moves to the USA and Premiership side
Tottenham<http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/fo/tottenham/>,
but has poured cold water on these rumours and highlighted his intent to
stay at Inter or quit football.

"I will play one more season at Inter or I will retire," Figo told Radio
Renascenca.

"Staying at Inter would be the result of the amazing treatment I have had in
my time here.

When asked about the rumours on a possible link-up with David
Beckham<http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/fo/profiles/3895.html>in the MLS
or the mooted switch to
Spurs <http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/fo/tottenham/>, Figo insisted these
were not options.

"Really, you can discard these ideas," he continued.

"It really was a dream to play in the [English] Premier League but sometimes
dreams cannot be realised."
