MANCINI: "SOME HARD MONTHS AHEAD"
*Tuesday, 16 January 2007 16:17:53 *

APPIANO GENTILE - After this morning's training session and ahead of the Tim
Cup <http://inter.it/en/stagione07/coppaitalia/> quarter-final return
against Empoli, Inter boss Roberto
Mancini<http://inter.it/en/squadra/allenatore/index.html>answered
questions from the press in his pre-match news conference:

There has been talk of Inter's renewed interest in Riquelme...
"So let's write tomorrow that Riquelme will come to Inter... (smiles). I
prefer not to talk about the transfer market. When I say Inter have a solid
foundation, I mean it because I am convinced that Inter have worked well in
these past three years, even during difficult times. We have created a good
structure, there's no need to turn everything upside-down. We need two or
three reinforcements, maybe of a certain age, but these are things we need
to assess. And it's obvious that I consider Riquelme a great player."
