Want to thank all the Spokane folks for coming on up to the Fest this year.  It
was so fun seeing so many FTTRC members represent. 

When i asked Dave Lent, a Republic Forest Service Recreation Specialist how we
did at the work party, he stated that we "Brought the thunder!" 

Special thanks to Peter for showing me around Beacon on Sunday, and for being an
awesome ride leader and sub-work party crew leader.

After touring Beacon a bit i thought, what killer trails you guys are building
and have built AND a stones throw away from the city!  The potential for
mountain biking in the Spokane area is truly limitless with trails at the Tower
and Mount Spokane, the beginner and race friendly Riverside, Beacon which can be
the Dry side's equivalent to Galbraith Mt. in Bellingham, and Kettle one of THE
premier backcountry riding destinations in the state.

i've ridden or hiked them all except for the Towers, you guys have the goods!

So look forward to seeing you all out again next year at the Crest.  Good times!
