Hello Swimmers/Athletes,
Great job, again, on such a fabulous Winter Triathlon season!
Thank you to all of those who helped out, supported us, and
participated! We now have photos up on our listserve site for all
three events, Word Document results, and News-Miner stories as
well. I have even more photos of this last event, which I'll post
soon. A few items of note:
1. Alaska Masters (FAST) had another great showing for the USMS 2006
One-hour Postal Swim. I'm adding a link to the results to this site
as well.
2. The next state swim meet is tentatively scheduled for Saturday,
May 13th, at Bartlett Pool in Anchorage. Anyone thinking of going?
I am!
3. It's not too early to start planning our Summer Triathlon series,
and gearing up for open-water swimming season. June will be here
before you know it (AAAAAHHHHH!). Time to look into wetsuits if you
need them, tinted goggles, and greasing up your bikes...
4. Since we are indeed sponsors of this UAF women's swim team
banquet, we are all invited to attend this Sunday in the Butrovich
building. Sheri Layral will be sending this list an invitation with
more details.
