Hi all,

Scott wanted me to pass these two items along. Free food is involved. I could
probably make time for one of these if a couple of other people might be
interested in going. So, let me know if you might be willing to attend one of
these. With a decent showing at the Chancellor's thing we might be able to
lobby for some modest improvements to the Patty Center Pool.

The Chancellor is throwing a BBQ for teams and boosters on Saturday and
Sunday, April 18/19, at the Patty Center. Swimmers and their boosters will
be entertained by the Chancellor and his wife on Sunday, April 19, from
1-3 pm. Swimmers must attend; attendance is optional for boosters though
we'd be thrilled if they came!! Do you or do any of the masters want to
attend?

Hey Robbie,

Our end of the year awards banquet will be Sunday afternoon, April 26,
from 3-5 pm. We're having it in the meeting room at the Open Arms Child
Development Center off Davis Road near Jillian Square.

This will be a potluck in terms of side dishes, salads and desserts. Sheri
Layral is going to bring several big trays of lasagna from Sam's Club for
the main dish.

We'll be giving out nice awards for the Most Valuable, Most Inspirational,
Most Improved and Top Scholar. The Top Scholar award is named the John C.
Gilmore Award in honor of the ex-Athletic Director who started both club
and college swimming in Fairbanks in 1968. He's retired and currently
lives in Steamboat Springs (I think).

Please extend an invitation to all the masters swimmers and mention we
really appreciate everything you guys have done for us this year.
