Hi all,
The AKMS board discussed possibly moving the Short Course Yards meet to the weekend of Feb 29 - Mar 1 instead of the middle of February. The idea was first to try to correspond with Iditarod weekend so it would be a fun time for swimmers to come to town and second there are several pools that close for maintenance in December and Janaury and this would allow a couple more weeks of training before the state meet.
So here's my favor to ask all of you....let me know what you think. Good idea, not so good? I'm not sending this out to the entire AKMS group just because I don't want it to turn into something bigger than it really has to be, but feel free to talk to your teammates and get their opinions too.
