trash someone when they just got well. Not! You think
fourth is bad? Come on. Many many skaters didn't do as
well as Elvis did and they were healthy all year or
most of the year. Elvis had two weeks of no pain and
not enough time to gain his full strength back and
you trash him? How dare you say things like Elvis is
too old and that he's out to pasture. I'd like to see
you and all the media that has trashed him, get groin
and abdominal injuries, try to heal, train, compete
and not get any lower than 4th, win Canadians, get
fourth in the world at Worlds with only two weeks of
being pain free. I know that you'd all quit the minute
you got a hang nail. Elvis has guts, courage,
ambition, heart, character and persevrance. What do you
have? I know what it's like to have a groin injury from
figure skating. I'm healing from one right now. It's not
easy trying to skate with a groin injury and you can't
expect to be perfect cause you don't know what your body
will let you do at any given moment. But now that
Elvis is finally healed, you can bet that he'll prove
to all the media that he's not done. This year was
about getting healthy again and getting his feet back
under him again. It takes time. Just wait and see. Have
you ever heard, "If you don't have anything good to
say, don't say anything at all."? Well you're one of
the reasons my Elvis Stojko King of the Ice web site
does not have any news about where Elvis placed in the
freeskate and overall during '99 Worlds. I couldn't at the
time find any news reports that just would print the
news without bashing Elvis. Take a few lines from my
