if I recall
from high school spanish, spanish words are pretty much pronounced as
they are spelled. So that means:

'i' as in it;
'von' pronounced as you'd normally say it (accent on this syllable as
there's sometimes an accent over the 'o' when written in Spanish)

Gaete is harder as I think in Spanish the 'ae' has a distinct sound.
My best guess would be: guy tae (as in tae diggs).

btw, patrick, would u mind telling me how you found this group? I
noticed a bunch of people have joined in past couple weeks; I'm just
seeing if there's a pattern.

Ivon Gaete will NOT be doing this year's LLWS; ESPN got some other
girl to do it (she isn't nearly as hot as Ivon).  Don't worry though,
I will continue to maintain this group and will occasionally make
updates.

I think it started yesterday but the game was between American teams.
  Of course, if she's doing this year's LLWS, she will be covering
games between non-American teams.

discussion going.  Maybe people could contribute ideas for a poll
question?

Sorry that it took so long to make another update.  I'm going on
vacation tomorrow and will be gone for a week.  Hopefully there'll be
more members when I get back! :)

I just added a video which can be found under the files section.  Tell
me if you have problems viewing it.

Ivon's major appearance on english-language TV was the Little League
World Series last year.  I can't imagine why ESPN wouldn't bring her
back to do it again this year, but you never know.  I'll be trying to
find out whether or not she is, for sure.

In the mean time, what this group needs is someone who gets ESPN
Deportes.  If any member here does, please post what shows she appears
on.  If you happen to have video capture technology, caps would be
greatly appreciated.  Even if you don't, please let me know what shows
she's on anway, because I know a lot of cappers who might be willing
to contribute.
