i've had on several occasions when i'm out riding my bike to work and other places where drivers have been the rudest they can be to others sharing the road, i've one instance where a lady in a pick up truck pulled up beside me and started to shout !@#$% at me then she tried to run me into parked cars then drove off, i think they should include a chapter in drivers ed and when you get your license about respecting others that share the road

LOL.... I think that too.
Though I must admit, it's harder riding on bumpy sidewalks or narrow places than on a regular bike. And I go slower - or so my son tells me when we ride together!
But I enjoy it SO much more!

Hello all! I got my usx about 7 months ago and just love it. I'm amazed how comfortable and fun it is. In fact, I just got back from a quick 5-mile evening ride. The dog went for part of it. He loves riding with me and I love that he can't knock me over when he wants to chase after a squirrel!
That said - I'm curious about a couple of things
1/ How have you guys connected lights to the front of the bike for night riding. I have a great planetary light, but right now just hold it in my hand. Which is nice cuz I can wave it any direction to get attention, especially when I need to signal for a turn. BUT, it would be nice to have one I don'thave to hold. I just want it to be removable. I don't want to ride around ALL the time with some big thing protruding from the bike stem.
2/ What bike computers seem to connect to/work well on the usx? I'm curious how far I'm riding and how fast I'm averaging. But most of them look to expensive or too tiny.
3/ For those without computers, is there a way to estimate how fast I'm riding?
Know what I love most about the usx? The variety of people (from 85+ grandma's to little kids all the in-betweens) who grin when I ride by and holler "SWEET RIDE!"
