I took a look at the seat on my EZ-3 SX and on the bottom part it is just a knit fabric with a draw cord. Looks like I would have to take the seat off and take out a couple of screws. Go to the fabric store and buy a new piece of knit fabric, add a draw string and put it on. I don't know if you sew but if you do I think this will be a good solution.

Lights - I went to Wal-Mart. They sell a pair of lights from Bell - White for front - red for rear - they are diodes and can be set to flashing mode. Bright enough to show up in day, easy on batteries.
