Reply to this email please, not the yahoo group. I'll send out a notice to
the yahoo group around 11:00 if we have enough.
I'm assuming we'll have enough....

That's right, Halloween is right around the corner, which means it's time to secure your bid and start designing your costume for the 10th Annual Fright Flight Mixed Tournament in Fort Collins, Colorado! What's your team theme going to be this year? The Incredible Hucks? El Camino Rides Again? Bloodthirsty Bootytakers? The options are endless!
Here are the details
Fright Flight October 23-24, 2004 Fort Collins, Colorado - Colorado State University Fifteen Co-ed teams, 4 men/3 women Tournament Cost: Should be around $250 Party, dinner, land sharks and live music at Avogadro's Number on Saturday night Non-profit beneficiary: CSU Women's Ultimate, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado
Getting a Bid First, let me apologize for the lateness of this announcement. We had a hell of time getting fields this year and finally secured them today (9/17) with the
help of the CSU Women's Ultimate Frisbee Team.
To get a bid (there is always a waiting list for this event so don't be a slacker), send a $100 deposit check to me (see address below) postmarked no earlier than Wednesday, September 22, 2004. FYI - The check will be cashed if you get a bid. I will announce who received a spot in the tourney October 1st.
Along with your check you need to tell me why your team should get a bid, including unique items such as your team theme, funny stories, crazy photos, blackmail photos, bottles of booze, etc. With only 15 teams, the competition for getting a bid will be fierce. If your bid lacks creativity, you won't get a spot in the tourney.
Finally, if you get a bid, then flake out less than two weeks before the tournament, you will not get your deposit back. The deposit will be credited towards your team's tourney fee.
Send Bid to: Heath Mackay 3419 Eliot Street Denver, CO 80211
Additional
Info: Feel free to contact me at this email address or my yahoo account (both are below). Tourney info will also be available at www.frightflight.com. The site hasn't been updated since last year's event but will be soon.
I look forward to another great event and seeing you there wearing some crazy costume!
Enjoy

Just reply to me and by 11:15 or so I'll let you know if we have enough.
This will minimize the number of emails you receive. Next week when I'm out
someone else can send out the emails and let everyone know if there are
enough.
Also I plan to remove this email address from the website because we got our
first junk email yesterday.

I visited http://coloradopowder.com, and noticed that you're not listed on some search engines! I would like to introduce to you an affordable service where we can help enhance your online presence globally.

We offer a star solution that will produce guaranteed results. Our unique search engine positioning technology helps submit your website to over 300,000 search engines and directories every month.
It takes only minutes to sign up for our service. We'll do the rest! You'll be surprised how simple it is to now reach out to an international market and increase the visibility of your website.
Do let me know how I may assist you better with workmiracle.com!
We need you (yes, rookies too) to come out for lunchtime ultimate!
Now that high school and college is in and some firms are in crunch
mode, our numbers are dwindling so we have to resort to postive
confirmation that we have enough players. Don't forget we play year
round.
We will use this yahoo group in a new way now. If you don't want to
receive all the confirmations every Tuesday/Thursday, then please
change your Yahoo group setting at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/evergreen_ultimate to "special events
only." You won't receive any "Are you playing" emails but you will
hear details about Evergreen Ultimate leagues and tournaments. And
write 8/28/05 on your calendar for next year's big event!
I already changed your group setting for those of you we haven't
seen in months. But anytime you want to come out on T/TH just email
evergreen_ultimate@yahoogroups.com and we'll let you know if it's on
for that day.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Larry
I read about the Random Draw Evergreen Ultimate Tourney in WestWord. I've just moved to the Denver area (working in Denver/Littleton; living in Littleton) and am really stoked to play...
The one hitch is that I don't own a car. Are there any carpool possibilities? If there's anyone driving from the Littleton area or even Denver, I'd love to get in touch so that I can play this Sunday!
As promised, we have now posted information regarding the National League Conference to be held on November 13-14 in Boulder, CO. Please check it out on the home page of the website www.upa.org. Let me know if you have any input or questions.
Ultimate canceled today to save the fields.
The tournament for August 29th looks like it will be big! We will have a
players information page up on the website in a day or two.
L
Evergreen Ultimate discs have arrived. UVs are almost gone but we'll have plenty
of white. Come on out to Tuesday/Thursday pick-up to get them.
Don't forget to spread the word about the free random draw tournament Sunday,
Aug. 29. It's looking like we'll have a great turn out. We should have more
details soon, and then we'll email out an update and also post info at
http://coloradopowder.com/ultimate.html
But for now plan on a clinic at 9:00 for new players at Buchanan ball fields,
start drawing names at 10:00, and BYO party afterwards 2 miles from Buchanan
with 18 holes of frisbee golf as a diversion.
Larry
Hey, Just thought I'd let you know that I sent out the notice to
about 20 people for the tournament, so I hope that helps in getting
a good turnout. I know that I'm in, trying to convince my wife as
well.
I'm just curious, what kind of response have you had so far?
Tony Checco
Sorry if you got this twice.
The Rec District (Thanks Pat & Kim!) have agreed to let us use Buchanan and
Middle School fields (if needed) for free for the random draw Ultimate
Frisbee Hat tournament all day on Sunday, August 29th!
As hard as fields are to get, this is fantastic. They are doing this to help
us build ultimate momentum up here. PLEASE set this date aside and join us
so we can show them that their faith is warranted, and to do your part to
keep the momentum up here. WE NEED YOU!
More details will follow, but spread the word and brings friends and family.
Beginners are welcome - teams will be picked at random. We will have a
skills clinic teaching throws and other basics first. We'll start in the
morning to avoid the weather - maybe skills clinic at 9:00 and games at
10:00.
More later. Oh - it's FREE! Don't forget to sign up for the yahoo group as
we'll keeping spamming this list for another week or two probably.
