The Sr. Software Engineer in our HAI/PlacementsPlus practice will be
mainly responsible for configuring new customers, supporting existing
customers, and enhancing products to support new customer
implementations.
This Role to include but not limited to:
*Support new and existing customer implementations by working together
with client services team during customer requirements phase until
implementation and production support.
*Work with production support to deliver and validate new
implementation and product changes.
*Configure standard applications to support new file layouts for
customers.
*Maintain existing core libraries written in C++ by adding new fields
to records and new enumerated codes.
*Solve server and software issues, coordinating with production
support as needed.
*Maintain existing applications in C++, C#, Java, and Python.
*Write and maintain stored procedures in SQL.
*Provide assistance to the development teams through peer reviews,
aiding team members when problems or questions arise and maintaining
concise and effective communication with all team members.
*Manage subversion repository.
*Help design and implement better solutions for customer
implementation and QA automation.
*Document release notes for each customer implementation.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and equivalent 6+ years of work
experience.
*Working experience with Relational Databases (SQL).
*Experience with source control software. Subversion is preferred.
*Experience with object oriented design and programming techniques in C
++ and Net/C#.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Ability to work under tight deadlines and with changing requirements,
Dedicated to creating high quality code and results.
