Ultimate was great Tuesday - wish you were there! Remember, we play
year round when it's nice.
To avoid miscommunications and to avoid the need for a central
organizer for Tuesday/Thursday noon ultimate, we have a new procedure
for confirming we have enough players:
1. Change your yahoo group setting to use your work email so you can
see if we're playing during the work day (yes, even an eoTek VP uses
his work email so it's OK).
2. On T/TH mornings, people will start sending emails to the list
that say "I'm in." If we get at least 6, then we're playing. If you
have to back out, email the group and tell them so. Maybe the 6th
person should supplement their email with "We're on" just to be sure.
Brian and I have used this approach with the NREL group in Golden and
it works great, and doesn't rely on a central coordinator, which is a
real pain. Brian, add anything to this that you think is helpful.
Thanks. From now on, this Yahoo group will be our only communication
regarding lunchtime ultimate.
