BOO!

That's right, Halloween is right around the corner, which means it's time to secure your bid and start designing your costume for the 10th Annual Fright Flight Mixed Tournament in Fort Collins, Colorado! What's your team theme going to be this year? The Incredible Hucks? El Camino Rides Again? Bloodthirsty Bootytakers? The options are endless!

Here are the details

Fright Flight
October 23-24, 2004
Fort Collins, Colorado - Colorado State University
Fifteen Co-ed teams, 4 men/3 women
Tournament Cost: Should be around $250
Party, dinner, land sharks and live music at Avogadro's Number on Saturday night
Non-profit beneficiary: CSU Women's Ultimate, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado

Getting a Bid
First, let me apologize for the lateness of this announcement. We had a hell of time getting fields this year and finally secured them today (9/17) with the help of the CSU Women's Ultimate Frisbee Team.

To get a bid (there is always a waiting list for this event so don't be a slacker), send a $100 deposit check to me (see address below) postmarked no earlier than Wednesday, September 22, 2004. FYI - The check will be cashed if you get a bid. I will announce who received a spot in the tourney October 1st.

Along with your check you need to tell me why your team should get a bid, including unique items such as your team theme, funny stories, crazy photos, blackmail photos, bottles of booze, etc. With only 15 teams, the competition for getting a bid will be fierce. If your bid lacks creativity, you won't get a spot in the tourney.

Finally, if you get a bid, then flake out less than two weeks before the tournament, you will not get your deposit back. The deposit will be credited towards your team's tourney fee.

Send Bid to:
Heath Mackay
3419 Eliot Street
Denver, CO 80211

Additional Info:
Feel free to contact me at this email address or my yahoo account (both are below). Tourney info will also be available at www.frightflight.com. The site hasn't been updated since last year's event but will be soon.

I look forward to another great event and seeing you there wearing some crazy costume!

Enjoy
