We are a group that plays pickup ultimate in Evanston IL.
We are mainly intermediate players with some members that have played competitively, but want to play a more relaxed/friendlier game. The weekday games are played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the spring, summer and fall, until the daylight savings time change. We will have good turn out of people until fall daylight savings time so COME OUT AND PLAY!! We also play ALL YEAR ROUND on Sundays. During winter months, PLEASE CHECK THE POLLS (http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/evanston-ultimate/polls) on this site to make sure that we have enough players for a game during the cold, icy and snowy months.

***THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE FOR SUMMER MONTHS(June, July, August)***
Since Northwestern students are gone, we will use Long field as a primary field and then use backup fields at Noyes and Deering if Long is taken.

As a rule for the summer:
On Tuesdays and Thursdays we meet at 5:30pm
On Sundays, we meet at 2pm.

SUMMER ULTIMATE 1st choice: Long field (Lincoln and Sheridan).
Only leave this field if it is taken by another group. During WEEKDAY GAMES, we may need to meet at Noyes field due to various Northwestern camps. SUNDAY GAMES will meet at LONG FIELD so that we can have two simultaneous games if we have large turnouts.

SUMMER ULTIMATE 2nd choice: Noyes field/Tallmadge park (along the west side of Noyes el stop). This 2nd choice status may change after the group votes. Just assume this field is 2nd for now. Only leave this field if it is taken by another group.

SUMMER ULTIMATE 3rd choice: Deering field (south east corner of Foster and Sheridan in Evanston). This 3rd choice status may change after the group votes. If you are at this field and have checked out the other fields and they are all taken, please WAIT here. If possible, send a scout to the other fields to collect straggling ultimate players and bring them to this last resort.
