A freind of mine who is paralysed from the waist down is going to do the Aberfeldy Half Ironman this summer.  She usually rides a handbike but the nature of the bike course makes that impractical so she and I will be doing the bike section on her recumbent/hand bike tandem.  

 

I had a go on it and now realise my knees need to do some getting used to riding a recumbent.  Unfortunatelly she's in Inverness, I'm in Linlithgow (west lothian) so not much chance to get togethether.  I'd like to avoid hours in the gym on a static machine so am looking for a recumbent to hire/borrow for a couple of months - I'm happy to loan out a road bike in return or come to some sort of deal -

 

So, anyone know of one I can get the use of.
