Dear all

I've now got details from Edinburgh Leisure with what pool space they
can offer us.

We need to make some decisions pretty quickly. So I'd like to have a
quick meeting before swimming tonight at 19:40 to explain the options
and collect feedback. If you can't make it tonight please send me
feedback on the options below. The sub-committee will need to get
together later on to make some decisions based on the feedback. EL are
expecting a response next week.

We are being offered the following.

1. Tuesday nights at Leith Victoria, 5 lanes x 25yds, 8:00-9:45, or any
hour within that period.
This has arisen only because another club has stopped their lease. The
pool will only hang onto this session for a short time, after that it
becomes a public session. Therefore we would need to take this almost
immediately, which means leaving the Commie earlier than planned!

2. Three lanes at Drumbrae (25m) on Wednesday night 8:00-9:30, to start
when Commie finishes.

3. Tuesday mornings at Portobello 2 lanes between 6:00-8:00.

4. Tuesday or Thursday mornings March-Sept only) at Leith Victoria
6:00-7:30.

We had a meeting with the manager at Porty baths last night and have
asked for a continuation of the short term let we have there on Monday
nights. There are problems with this but it may be possible provided EL
haven't offered it to another club. I'll try to find out today.
