Mike,
I've been to 3 Gay Games and I'm assuming the registration process will be similar. When you arrive in Montreal, make your way to the Outgames Village. There will be information booths and registration desks. Check in at the registration desk and they will give you your athlete's identification badge and public transportation pass. There will also be info on where the events will be and how to get there.Your ID badge will get you into the opening/closing ceremonies and your sport.
To reiterate Randy's suggestion, marching in the opening ceremonies is not to be missed, though EquipeSF probably will not be leading the parade of athletes at the Outgames as TeamSF has done in the GG.
Another suggestion - make your flight and hotel reservations as early as possible as finding availability will be more difficult the closer you get to the games. Here's a good link for places to stay: http://www.funmaps.com/montreal_hotels.htm

This will ensure that you are fresh and ready from the
start. :-)
BTW....word has it that Cologne (Köln) won the next
Gay Games bid, for 2010.
