SUNDAY JANUARY 29th, 2006
ROUND 1 2006 WEST SOUTH WALES HARE & HOUNDS CHAMPIONSHIP
Preparations for next Sunday's West South Wales
Championship "ALLTYMYNYDD HARE & HOUNDS" have been completed with
Dyfed Dirt Bike Club officials extremely happy with their brand new
9km course near the Brechfa Forest, Llanybydder. Approximately 95% of
the track is fantastic off-road going with absolutely NO STOPPERS
anywhere. The track, more enduro based than motocross, will have a
lap time of between 13 and 18 minutes - depending on ability and
conditions, and is guaranteed to thrill with plenty of fast smooth
singletrack, wide open fire breaks, stony tracks and green lanes and
of course proper root and ruts Welsh forest enduro riding. It will
provide the healthy entry list with an excellent warm up before the
Enduro season proper begins with the following Sunday's Snowrun
Enduro.
For the first time ever, the West South Wales Centre are running an
Enduro Championship for it's riders and such is the popularity and
support for this new 3 Round series that Dyfed DBC have opened up the
Alltymynydd entry to allow a further 20 riders to compete. This means
that it is still not too late to enter - there are some spaces left
on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED basis.
You can reserve your entry by contacting Event Secretary, Myles
Rosser on :- 07870 773021
Round 2 of the WSW Champioship is the Vale of Tywi's Llanllwni Hare &
Hounds on July 2nd.
Round 3 is DDBC's Talsarn Hare and Hounds on September 3rd.
