We just updated http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-98k.htm and added
about thirty more HAND-PICKED Nazi 98k rifles for your perusal.

Having just arrived home from Louisville last night, I spent the
hours between then and now mostly catching up on my correspondance,
shipping orders received since I left, and logging-in the many items
I was able to acquire at Louisville. Sleep? What's that??? ;^>

I have yet to go through our want-lists and since nearly all the long-
guns were shipped to us (only the handguns could be taken on the
plane) I have to await their arrival before a proper "new stuff" page
can be composed and published (I'm thinking early next week).

Well the items I had shipped to us from the Louisville shgow arrived
sooner than I thought, so instead of next week here is our
promised "New Stuff" page with the gleanings from our latest road-
trip.

http://www.empirearms.com/092702.htm

Some of this stuff is unusual, seldom seen and quite interesting, and
some of it is in just flat-out spectacular condition.

Emails only, please, no phone calls. And PLEASE do include your name
& address in your email as we have several customers with the same
name and don't want to ship your stuff to someone else.

Good luck, and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Not really a lot to offer, really. . . I'll be in attendance at the
ORLANDO FAIRGROUNDS gun-show on Saturday seeing what I can buy and
whhatever that may be will be combined with the few items acquired
this week for a "New Stuff" list later next week\ (we already have
meny igems that will spark the imagination ...

We have just added a large group of Russian-captured Naxi 98k's on
our website at http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-98k.htm

You need to knowe that this will NOT be an infinite supply of these
98k Rusian-Refurb rifles and they will dry-up VERY soon! I give it a
MONTH, max!

Sure, other dealers have been offering these for less than us, but
AIM (great dealers, don't get me wrong) is already SOLD OUT of their
allottment. I personally sacrificed THREE DAYS to drive up to
Knoxville (where the importers of this lot was located) and literally
(with considerable sweat and blood) HAND-PICKED every single 98k we
are offering for sale. EVERY rifle these other vendors offer are
rifles I personally *REJECTED* for one reason for another, so go
ahead and buy them if you want. Hey! They ARE cheaper (for a
reason, of course, but those interested in price above quality likely
will not care)!

SPECIAL! Anyone who orders a 98k from us THIS WEEK ONLY is invited
to but a copy of RICHARD LAW'S famnous opus "Backbone of the
Wehrmacht, 2nd Edition", the difinitive serious hardcover reference
for the 98k rifle at $60.00 POSTPAID! See
http://www.empirearms.com/books.htm# This is over $30 below the
retail price

First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Desitee on Sunday. . . she got to see
Dale Earnhardt Jr. win his third straight Talladega 500 race (not to
mention the million-dollar bonus he won for himself as well as a
random fan) and so I congratulate "Little E" as well for making Dez
as happy as can be!

One thing I meant (but forgot) to let you know last Thursday is that
we JUST got in some more INDEP 7.5 MAS ammo, however this time they
got smart and used a 139gr. projectile and upped the power quite a
bit so it will function ANY semiautomatic rifle as well as do justice
to those bolt-action 1936 and 36/51 MAS rifles you may own.

I am travelling on Wednesday & Thursday to purchase a C&R collection
and plan to put a proper "new stuff" list out this coming weekend
sometime.

In the meantime we have added some more rifles to our 98k page at
http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-98k.com including one with a
SS "Totenkopf" cartouche stamped on the stock, an ar-41 with side-
rail SNIPER mount for the ZF-41 scope among other neat items.

We also offer the book "Backbone of the Wehrmacht, the German 98k
Rifle 1934-1945" At the DISCOUNTED price of $60 POSTPAID! This is
the BIBLE for serious 98k collectors. . . indispensible!

We will continue to offer these Russian-captuired Nazi 98k's on our
websitre until they are gone, but only in 20-30 gun-batches at a time
so we can keep up with the shipping.

This contains a group of exceptional quality Finn rifles (including
quite a few "best I've ever seen" guns)as well as a smattering of
Russian, Argentine, and others, most from a collection I just drove
some 1000 miles to buy over the weekend. One of the neatest features
of this group of guns is that most include slings and several include
proper bayonets as well.

We also added a bunch more Russian-captured Nazi 98k's with intact
markings to our "98k page" located at
http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-98k.htm

This Friday I will be travelling to TULSA to attend the World's
largest and best Gun Show. Our tables are located in the center of
the building just above the North ramp between levels. As usual I
will not be taking anything to sell at the show, but hope to be
buying some interesting items for upcoming "New Stuff" lists and
customer want-lists.

Since I will be elsewhere, EMPIRE ARMS will be CLOSED (once again)
from Friday the 19th until Tuesday the 22nd.

Anyway here is the address for today's "New Stuff" page:

http://www.empirearms.com/101402.htm

As usual, EVERY firearm on that page is available at thius very
moment, but as we all know it won't stay that way for long.

Good luck, and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Here are some of the results of our TULSA trip. Though photos of the
handguns and 98k bayonets were completed in time I wasn't able to get
any pix of the rifles as our photography room is not yet completed
and we simply have not had time to do them the old-fashioned way. My
descriptions are accurate (as anyone who has bought from us before
knows) and they will sell anyway, photos or not.

We are offering a SPECIAL on Russian-captured Nazi 98k's. . . five or
more (our choice of codes and dates, all handpicked rifles with great
borees and intact Nazi markings), $250 EACH including shipping (more
than matching the price Federal Arms Corp. is offering for their
handpicked rifles).

Desiree is going to be hospitalized for major surgery on the 12th, so
EMPIRE ARMS will be scaling-back our "operations" for the following
six weeks or so until she (hopefully) recovers. I had scheduled a
RICHMOND gun-show for the following weekend but now that is out of
the question. I don't like to see this happen so close to Christmas
but I'll *definitely* have my hands full so expect significant delays
in processing and shipping after Nov. 8th until the first of the
year. We should be okay getting items from this list shipped quite
quickly, though.

Anyway, here is the location of today's "New Stuff" list:

http://www.empirearms.com/102802.htm

Note that we INTENTIONALLY vary the times when we email out these
notifications so that all of you can get and equal chance at success
(whether they getr their email at work or at home, or live on the
West or East coast). Our last five "new stuff" lists have been sent-
out at 9:57 AM, 12:38 PM, 2:38 AM, 4:20 PM and 11:33 AM (all Eastern
time). While putting a list out late at night is an inconvenience to
us, we really are trying to be fair to everyone as nobody likes to
see something they would like to buy already marked SOLD by the time
they check their email.

Good luck, and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

We just added around thirty more hand-picked Russian-captured Nazi
98k rifles to our 98k page at http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-98k.htm

We do indeed have more of these rifles (a couple hundred yet
unlisted), but prefer not to get overwhelmed with orders and thus
have a shipping-problem getting them out to people so we are listing
them a little at a time as as they sell-down we will list more. All
were personally hand-picked and they are TOP of the line, no doubt!
We also have quite a few RARITIES to offer for the more
discriminating collector.

EMPIRE ARMS has also just acquired some excellent-condition Belgian
FN-49 bayonets and have added them to our accessories page at
http://www.empirearms.com/access.htm Most of the FN-49 we have
seen offered for sale were literally beat-up JUNK, but not so this
lot! There are seriously NICE!

As I mentioned in my last missive to you, my wife (and partner)
Desiree will be going into surgery on the 12th and will be flat on
her back for at least 6 weeks. As she usually does all of the
packing and shipping expect that department to be slow as Hell for
the next couple months while I make a feeble attempt to cover for
her until she is back on her feet. Yeah, I PROMISE not to push her
to start back to work until she is actually ready. . . I've already
gotten my ass busted by some of you who know me all too well! ;^>

For the Christmas season we offer official
EMPIRE ARMS GIFT CERTIFICATES
which can be made out in ANY amount ($5 or more) and can be easily
paid-for with a credit-card. Your mom-in-law doesn't know what to
get you for Christmas? Tell her to buy you an "Empire Arms Gift
Certificate" and show them where we are. We will even do our part
to partake in the holiday spirit by paying HALF of the shipping of
your gift to you (not including ammo) until Jan 1st, 2003 in
conjunction with a EAGC..

Well, wish me some SLEEP (I get very little, and you can no doubt
tell), SANITY (very hard to maintain with so very much going on) and
PATIENCE (which I evidently need some work on).

I'll try to keep you all "in the loop" as far as what is happening
with us as well. . .

Good luck, and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Subject: no recent "New Stuff" lists?

Quite a few of our 3,500+ subscribers have been emailing and calling
me recently wondering why we have not published any "New Stuff"
lists during the last month. . . so many that I thought it best to
make an announcement.

My wife and partner in EMPIRE ARMS, Desiree Kroh, had major surgery
on Nov. 12th and was released from the hospital on Nov. 15th to
recuperate at home. We had previously made an announcement that we
would be intentionally slowing down the business until the first of
the year during her recuperation (Desiree has handled all of the
packing and shipping for EMPIRE ARMS for the past nine years and is
indispensible).

Unfortunately she developed an extremely serious and dangerous post-
op infection and had to be re-admitted to the hospital last Friday.
Desiree remains there (Halifax Medical Center, Room 116B) undergoing
aggressive IV-antibiotic therapy and is dealing with extreme pain,
discomfort and (naturally) anxiety. There is no telling how long
she will remain hospitalized (things can go either way at this
point) and, of course, since I am spending as much time as possible
WITH HER there is and has been no one here "minding the store" (nor
will there be for the foreseeable future).

It would be counter-productive to put out a "New Stuff" list if
there is literally nobody here most of the time to check our email,
take orders, update the site, write invoices and then ship the
merchandise.

I have been able to keep-up (barely, with help from my good friend
Ed S.) with orders for the handpicked Russian-captured Nazi 98k
rifles we have listed and continue to list (as well as the rest of
our rifles and pistols) on our website, but until Desiree is well
and back home EMPIRE ARMS will not be publishing any more "New
Stuff" pages (though we do indeed have a lot to offer when the time
comes). Bad timing, I know. . . but who plans for things like this
to happen?

I'm not sending this message in order to get a flood of email
containing messages of pity or get-well wishes (in fact I am
discouraging it right now). . . it is intended only to keep you all
informed on what is going on with us since many of you have asked.
Life is sometimes hard and we have to accept and deal with the good
as well as the bad.

I have considered COMPLETELY shutting-down our website until we are
able to operate at full-capacity once more but I will not unless
forced to by increased demands on my time (questions one can have
answered by simply reading our "Terms of Sale" page or buying the
most basic book, requests for photos I don't have time to take,
counteroffers of less than we paid, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera).

We still have bills to pay so I am not trying to discourage you from
ordering anything from us, but please remember that you are dealing
with ONE stressed-out, overworked, sleep-deprived fellow human and
not some uncaring anonymous corporate entity with a bunch of low-
paid employees to do all of our "dirty work" for us.

I really don't want to bite off more than I can chew nor do I want
to provide less than the best service to either my customers or my
wife and partner Desiree. Right now she needs me more than you guys
do.

When we are fully "up and running" again you'll be the *VERY FIRST*
to know, so until then thanks for (hopefully) understanding, thanks
for caring, and thanks for your past, present and future business.

Dennis J. Kroh
owner, EMPIRE ARMS

First off the good news. . . Desiree is back home from the hospital
and is recovering from that deadly infection. . . I guess your
prayers helped quite a bit! She still needs an I.V. (administered by
yours truly) for antibiotics but it appears that this "hump" has been
cleared.

We do have a New Stuff list but it is rather sparse as I didn't want
to get overwhelmed with orders while I was gone (I'll be in Arizona
Dec. 11th to the 17th, and we will be CLOSED during that period).

I'm finally home for awhile, and wanted to wish you all Happy
Holidays!

I did add about thirty Russian-captured 98k rifles on Wednesday night
and another dozen tonight. Many of these are scarce to rare and many
have clear stock cartouches.

See http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-98k.htm for details.

We will likely put out another "New Stuff" list between Christman and
New Years. . . we do have some neat items for you to peruse. We have
been able to keep totally caught-up with shipping (though I had
initially feared the worst)so there should not be any delays for the
near future.

Have a Happy Christman and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

As promised here is the latest "New Stuff" list we have had in quite
a while. There is a LOT of variety on this list and the best part is
that every firearm is illustrated.

We should be able to get every gun ordered by 5PM today shipped this
afternoon. I'll be making an appearance at the Orlando Fairgrounds
gunshow this weekend, so if you are thinking of stopping by please
bring something nice you would like to sell.

SO without further ado, here is the "secret site" for today:

I just thought I would let you know that we are nearly SOLD OUT of
the Russian captured Nazi 98k's and doubt if we will be able to
acquire any more in the near future (aside from a small group of bnz
single-rune rifles assembled at the Mauthausen concentration camp
during 1943 & 1944 that we have already purchased and have yet to
list).

We just acquired some interesting Model 1933 Argentine short rifles
in 7.65mm. . . for details (and photos) see
http://www.empirearms.com/1933-argentine.htm

We also have a small number of Russian 91/30 sniper rifles in
excellent condition with matching numbers and clear optics @ $675
apiece that we have yet to list on our "public" pages.

Our next "new stuff" list won't be until next week at the earliest as
we have run into a bit of a "dry" spell (it's been too cold down here
for anyone to think about traveling to sell us anything). ;^p

We will, as usual, be CLOSED for "Speed Weeks" here in Daytona Feb.
8th-16th, and then CLOSED again Feb.19th-25th while I attend the
Louisville "Show of Shows" and "National Gun Day" marathons. We will
have a couple of shipping-days (on the 10th, 11th & 12th) and will be
answering our emails remotely every day but otherwise will not be
available during that entire period.

Hope you are keeping warm and looking forward to the Spring (I know
we are).

GOD BLESS AMERICA and all our ships at sea!

As planned (long ago) we will be CLOSED and unavailable from now
until Wednesday, Feb. 26th as we are attending the S.H.O.T. Show in
Orlando, the Daytona 500 and related events leading up to it, and
driving the thousand miles each way to and from Louisville to attend
(with tables) the "Show of Shows" and "National Gun Day", all in
rapid succession. I expect to be home less than 24 hours total
during this period. . . not enough to actually get anything done.

I have taken-down our web-pages in the interim, as I will not have
any internet access (or very spotty access) and won't be able to
print invoices, fill orders, or even likely return emails while away
so it's pointless to tempt potential customers.

To make things a big, fat pain in the rear UPS started requiring us
to use their "new & improved" software (UPS Worldship 5.0) on Friday,
and for some reason the tracking-info emails we routinely have sent
to customers for many years when we ship something no longer
functions. This is the message I got for each package sent:

> ***Do not reply to this e-mail. UPS will not receive your reply.

> You requested that UPS forward a notification regarding a
> shipment. The notification was not delivered.

> Reasons your e-mail could not be delivered include:
> 1. An error in the e-mail address,
> 2. The e-mail address is no longer valid, or
> 3. The recipient's e-mail system was unavailable.

[none of those scenarios existed, of course. . . ALL of the emails
were valid and had been used in the past without error]

> If the problem was related to Item 1 or Item 2 above, please:
> 1. Check your address book and correct. This will avoid failures
> in the future.
> 2. Forward this e-mail directly to the corrected address.

> You may wish to notify the recipient directly.

Well THAT'S a big help!

As I am now away from my office I have no idea what the tracking #'s
of items we shipped for the last couple of days may be. . . that info
is simply not available to me while I am "on the road" so my
apologies in advance if you happened to be expecting something from
us. You will STILL get it. . . I just cannot tell you when. UPS
realizes the problem with their software and has promised to rectify
it "soon".

Finally, Gunboards.com (formerly known as "Tuco's Collectors Forum"),
which we proudly sponsor, is currently "down" for maintenance and
server upgrades and should be back online in a few days (in one form
or another).

Sorry for all these inconveniences. We are going to try to have a
good time while we are gone despite them (and after I get back I'll
*really* be in need of a vacation)! ;^>

The one bright spot in this whole message is that after this trip is
over we will certainly be publishing a bunch of "New Stuff" pages
with a load of interesting items we plan to purchase while away
(including some of which we have already acquired). Wish me luck!

Here is the second installment of the items we purchased mostly at
the "National Gun Day" and "Show of Shows" in Louisville a few weeks
ago.

I bet you were taken aback by our last "New Stuff" message on March
6th which contained no text at all, merely a link to the page. . .
believe me it was not supposed to have been that way at all! That
message was to contain a bunch of information concerning what we have
been doing and several stories that I thought would interest and
inform you as well. However it seems YahooGroups was having some
internal problems and when I clicked "send" nothing happened except
that the text I had just spent so much time working on completely
disappeared into a void. I then re-typed everything (or nearly) and
hit "send" again and the very same thing happened. . . poof!
Frustrated, I assumed that tere was something wrong with the server
and so input ONLY the link and hit "send" and of course that time it
worked! Grrrr!

What I had wanted to tell you is that we had been completely out of
long shipping-boxes ever since just before we had closed for our trip
and I was assured by our box-company that a new shipment would arrive
by Feb. 20th. Due to rain they were actually not delivered until
last Wednesday, March 5th, so we were a little behind in shipping
items previously ordered but catching up fast (we have since caught
up completely).

We have also received an influx of orders for "little stuff" like
ammo and accessories during the past two months, resulting in us
being completely SOLD OUT of several hard to obtain calibers such as
7.5x54 French MAS, 7.5x55 Swiss, 7.63 Broomhandle Mauser and 8x56R
Steyr ammo (most of which we will be unable to replace). Our
inventory of other calibers still in stock has been seriously
depleted as well, so much so that we are considering discontinuing
the sale of ammunition completely (we only handled it as a
convenience to our customers anyway, not as a cash-producing
commodity).

Empire Arms has also purchased a number of Soviet Ministry of Defence
marked (MO / date) refurbished Model 91/30 and updated 1891 Dragoon
rifles and have listed and sold many without any fanfare at all on
our web-page at http://www.empirearms.com/MO-9130.htm . These are
fascinating historical items previously unavailable in ANY quantity
at all. That page is pretty sold-down at the moment however I will be
adding more of them to it forthwith as soon as the opportunity
presents itself.

Those of you who collect the Russian-captured German 98k's with non-
scrubbed markings will be glad to know that we have hand-picked and
acquired a small quantity of them that we are adding 10 or twelve at
a time to our 98k page at http://www.empirearms.com.Nazi-98k.htm
though we have only enough to last us a couple weeks at best before
we will be sold out yet again.

Anyway, without any further ado, here is the "secret site" web-page
containing our "New Stuff" for today:

http://www.empirearms.com/031203.htm

We urge those of you who have not read our "Terms of Sale" page in
awhile (or ever) to do so now. It is located at
http://www.empirearms.com/terms.htm and nearly ALL of the questions
we get asked in emails and phone-calls can be easily answered by
perusing that page.

Well, good luck, and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Desiree and I personally offer our moral-support to our troops abroad
(including many of our customers who are doing their duty in the
military). We hope that their tour is short and successful and that
they return safely.

We have just added the very last of the Russian-captured 98k's in our
inventory to our web-pages at http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-98k.htm
(I know, the previous link that we supplied for that page did not
work, but this one will). EMPIRE ARMS will not have any more of
these available for several months at least, if even then, so this is
your warning.

I will be away on a buying-trip from Thursday, March 27th until at
least Tuesday, April 8th. EMPIRE ARMS will therefore be CLOSED
during that period and our web-pages will likely be taken off the web
during that time as well.

=====================================================================

Yeoww! TEN YEARS!

=====================================================================

This month marks the TENTH (10th)ANNIVERSARY of the formation of
EMPIRE ARMS. Desiree and I from the very beginning aimed our
business-plan towards doing business on the internet, but in those
days there was not much web-traffic. In no time at all, however, we
became a major force in this venue and suddenly the business Empire
Arms was doing began to outstrip that of our parent-company EMPIRE
COINS, INC. (well known specialists for 22 years in ancient Greek and
Roman Coins, http://www.empirecoins.com ). We valiantly attempted to
run both companies at the same time for several years but by early
1999 the writing was on the wall that we could do either ONE or the
OTHER justice, so it was decided that we shut-down EMPIRE COINS in
order to concentrate our efforts on EMPIRE ARMS totally and we really
haven't looked back since!

Apparently our business-plan was sound, as we currently have MUCH
more business than we can reasonably handle and have only our
faithful customers (you) to thank for it.

We do PLEDGE to stay on the "cutting edge" of milsurp availability.
As you well know we NEVER buy anything "blind" but I still PERSONALLY
hand-pick every single firearm we offer for sale. With the ongoing
military conflict with Iraq the availability of recently-imported
firearms in the marketplace will likely be in jeopardy, but we will
continue to offer complete collections and one-off purchases for you
to peruse on a regular basis at (what we hope to be) competitive
prices.

We also want to remind you that we ARE the "HIGHER-BUYERS" when it
comes to quality milsurp arms, and that we will most certainly be
fair when evaluating your material (especially those items originally
bought from us). We realize that selling milsurps isn't anything
that anyone WANTS to do, but sometimes it becomes financially (or
maritially) necessary.

Have a nice spring (especially you guys in Colorado who got over TWO
FEET of snow today) and we will be back in touch as soon as I get
back from my upcoming trip and get all our new purchases logged-in.

For those of you lucky enough to be able to go to the TULSA gun-show
April 5-6, Dennis and BIG MIKE will no-doubt see you at the greatest
show on Earth!

Well, "it's about time" some of you are saying (or is that just the
voices in my head?)

A few new items of note:

We got some more new-condition Finn Model 39 green-leather slings
back in stock, and also have some Swiss K-31 muzzle-caps to offer as
well as some SWISS Schmidt-Rubin ammo chargers (aka "stripper-
clips"). See our "accessories" page at
http://www.empirearms.com/access.htm

On the ammo front we now have more stores of 8x56R Steyr and 7.5
Swiss ammo as well as some of the excellent Hungarian 7.62x54R and a
small quantity of original Italian 7.35 Carcano on en-bloc clips.

As for todays "New Stuff" list we offer approximately half of the
items we acquired on our recent trip here, with another "New Stuff"
list to follow in less than a week (if we offered all at once we
would be overwhelmed with orders and delays in shipping would
inevitably result. . . something all of us would rather avoid).

HERE is the address of today's "New Stuff" page:

P.S.

Here's a little poem for you. . . (author unknown)

Eleven thousand soldiers lay beneath the dirt and stone,
all buried on a distant land so far away from home.

For just a strip of dismal beach they paid a hero's price,
to save a foreign nation they all made the sacrifice.

And now the shores of Normandy are lined with blocks of white
Americans who didn't turn from someone else's plight.

Eleven thousand reasons for the French to take our side,
but in the moment of our need, they chose to run and hide.

Chirac said every war means loss, perhaps for France that's true,
for they've lost every battle since the days of Waterloo.

Without a soldier worth a damn to be found in the region,
the French became the only land to need a Foreign Legion.

You French all say we're arrogant. Well hell, we've earned the right-
We saved your sorry nation when you lacked the guts to fight.

  But now you've made a big mistake, and one that you'll regret;
you took sides with our enemies, and that we won't forget.

It wasn't just our citizens you spit on when you turned,
but every one of ours who fell the day the towers burned.

You spit upon our soldiers, on our pilots and Marines,
and now you'll get a little sense of just what payback means.

So keep your Paris fashions and your wine and your champagne,
and find some other market that will buy your aeroplanes.

And try to find somebody else to wear your French cologne,
for you're about to find out what it means to stand alone.

You see, you need us far more than we ever needed you.
America has better friends who know how to be true.

I'd rather stand with warriors who have the will and might,
than huddle in the dark with those whose only flag is white.

I'll take the Brits, the Aussies, the Israelis and the rest,
for when it comes to valor we have seen that they're the best.

We'll count on one another as we face a moment dire,
while you sit on the sideline with a sign "friendship for hire."

We'll win this war without you and we'll total up the cost,
and take it from your foreign aid, and then you'll feel the loss.

And when your nation starts to fall, well Frenchie, you can spare us,
just call the Germans for a hand, they know the way to Paris.

photos.

Warning. . . we will not be able to ship ANY rifles until at least
Thursday, as we have run out of boxes once again and will not get
more until late Wednesday afternoon.

As always this material is offered to YOU exclusively for 24 hours,
the unsold items will be listed on our "public" pages afterwards.
Every item is available as of this minute, and we will keep the page
up to date as best we can as the orders come pouring in.

In order to be completely fair we intentionally vary the timing of
these lists so that everyone gets a chance to be successful in
ordering something. Thus this notification is being sent out in what
for us is the middle of the night but is only late afternoon for our
West coast customers.

There are no handguns on this list but we have offered more than
enough of them on our previous three or four lists. We do have a
nice selection of Japanese Arisaka rifles this time around and every
item is illustrated.

We have added a new book to our books-page
(http://www.empirearms.com/books.htm) written by one of our good
customers DANA JONES titled "Crown Jewels: The Mauser in Sweden, A
Century of Accuracy and Precision". This is by far the best book
ever written about the Swedish Mausers, with 312 pages and 691
exceptional illustrations. This retails for $49.95 and if ordered
during the next week from us will be shipped POSTPAID!

I would like to remind all of you to browse through our "Terms of
Sale" page at http://www.empirearms.com/terms.htm if you haven't
lately as we have noticed a recent increase in queries that could
have easily been answered if the person had only looked in the
obvious place (maybe it isn't obvious enough). ;^>

We have also added the few remaining Russian-captured 98k's that we
have in stock to our 98k page at http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-
98k.htm, and have added to our list of Russian Department of Defense
marked 91/30's at http://www.empirearms.com/MO-9130.htm so go check
them out.

Here is our "secret site" for today:

http://www.empirearms.com/043003.htm

Please note that it will (as always) be kept up to date in "real
time" but only while we are still awake. . . or when we awaken
tomorrow. Now having obtained more rifle boxes we should be able to
ship items ordered from this list ASAP.

This is a rather small list, the remnants of what we have bought here
at home over the past week (many other items were sold outright to
folks who used our want-list service at
http://www.empirearms.com/wantlist.htm).

Our next effort will likely be a bayonets-only listing as we have
accumulated quite a few miscellaneous bayonets over the years.

It's really amazing how bad the SPAM problem has gotten, isn't it?
With many folks (including us) using things like SPAMkiller in an
attempt to filter SPAM from our emails it is inevitable that some
legitimate emails get blocked. I've had a few customers call us and
complain that they no longer get our "New Stuff" lists only to
discover that they (or their company) are inavertently blocking
emails emanating from yahoogroups.com or empirearms.com.

Also if an email "bounces" back to yahoogroups for whatever reason
(your in-box is full, etc.) yahoogroups will remove you from the "new
stuff" list automatically so try to ensure that does not happen.

Here is a good selection of interesting items for your perusal,
including many guns found in an attic here in Florida recently that
had been there (with no air-conditioning) for some deades.

Originally this list was to have been published last week but we have
had a bad one with (in no particular order):

1) blown head-gasket in somewhat new van, and resultant hassles
acquiring replacement transportation

2) nasty case of the flu

3) had to replace our digital camera at exactly the wrong time

4) still getting flood of orders daily that we have to process & ship

Poor us! ;^>

Actually the camera going kablooie was the best thing, as the
replacement I acquired is a million times better and considerably
faster as well, so that is going to cut photography-time considerably.

I got an early-morning timing for this notification was past-due, so
for you that get your email at home before you go to work, here's
your chance at seeing something other than everything being
marked "SOLD".

Yes, it's been a couple of weeks since we put out one of these "New
Stuff" pages, but hopefully this will make up for it.

This offering mostly consists of items we acquired on our trip to
Kentucky (though most of the long-arms we bought there will not
arrive by truck until tomorrow). What we do have to offer you now is
a variety of ever-popular WEBLEY revolvers and some other really neat
military sidearms as well as some nice Enfields and Finn rifles among
other things. Some oif these guns are the most spectacular examples
we have ever seen offered of their type.

We have acquired some more of the Russian-captured Nazi 98k's with
full markings (actually they will not be delivered until tomorrow
either) and will be greatly adding examples to our "98k Page" at
http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-98k.htm as soon as they arrive. Also
look for another "New Stuff" page early next week listing some of the
awesome rifles we bought in Louisville as well as some "old stock"
that we are going to have a "summer blowout sale" on.

Well, without further ado, here's is the link for today's "secret
site":

http://www.empirearms.com/061803.htm

Remember when corresponding with us to PLEASE identify yourself and
use the magic-phrase "I WANT IT" if you really do. As always, we
will be keeping every item on this list updated as to availability
in "real time" so GOOD LUCK!

It's been a couple busy weeks for us since we last put out a "New
Stuff" list. . . here are some neat items for your perusal.

We are also offering a "Christmas in July" sale of all of our modern
handguns and many of our C&R handguns. We will no longer offer non-
C&R handguns for sale (with the exception of some consigned items)
and have decided to no longer be a CZ-USA distributor.

As an aside there are many of you that use a "free" account to
subscribe to mailing-lists and to receive hobby-related email. The
PROBLEM with this is that many "free" providers (such as hotmail &
yahoo accounts in particular) have started to put a limit on the
number of emails one can receive, and if that limit (or "quota") is
exceeded these providers start kicking back (or "bouncing") error
messages with "mailbox full" or "quota exceeded" return emails. It
this happens with a mailing-list such as ours, your email address is
*automatically* suspended from receiving further messages from us.
This has happened to a BUNCH of our customers who then start yelling
that "we took them off our list" when in fact we did no such thing.

I highly recommend that if you use such "free" services you CHANGE
your email address used with the "Empire Arms New Stuff" list to
something not so fragile so you do not miss any "New Stuff" pages in
the future. We would NEVER divulge your email or other information
to anyone else. I must stress that *WE* cannot change your email
address on our mailing-list. . .you must do that yourself.

If you are interested in doing so, please surf to
http://www.groups.yahoo.com and click on "Account info". You can
then change your email address ("member information") for all Yahoo
Groups that you are subscribed to.

Wew plan to offer some "subscriber-only" specials in the near future
(specials that will not be posted on our web-pages or anywhere else.

Well, here is the "New Stuff" page for today:
http://www.empirearms.com/071603.htm

PLEASE do not reply to this email if ordering, as it would be routed
through YahooGroups instead of our server and would take much longer
(sometimes hours) to reach us (and in the interim the item you wanted
could be SOLD to someone else). Use only kroh@... to
email us.

GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

No "New Stuff" list this week. . . gotta sell some of the "old stuff"
before we can buy anything else (actually we have literally run out
of room to put stuff).

We have added some photos of the individual YUGOSLAVIAN Mausers we
have available. See http://www.empirearms.com/yugo-mauser.htm

We are having a *SALE* until the end of the month! Specifically we
are offering FREE SHIPPING on all book-titles and special pricing on
most of our handgun inventory.

Also we have a SPECIAL until August 1st on our Russian-captured Nazi
98k's at http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-98k.htm
We JUST added a couple dozen more nice examples to this list!

Anyone want any Russian 98k crates? These are heavy-duty large
wooden boxes (each holds 20 rifles) with heavy-steel braces and
latches, and are FREE for the taking. . . the only catch is they must
be picked up as they weigh over 100 lbs. apiece and are too bulky to
be shipped. PLEASE don't make us turn these into firewood. . . ;^>

It's been awhile between shows (as usual during the Summer) so this
is a rather abbreviated list.

We did acquire some hand-picked Czech-made vz24 rifles with
accessories that many of you may be interested in. These are real
beautiful refurbished rifles and all have excellent bores and
beautiful wood. Each comes with a bayonet, some leather stuff and a
cleaning-kit.

We also still have some individually-listed Russian-captured Nazi
98k's available at http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-98k.htm and we are
adding more hand-picked examples to this list all the time.

So, without further ado here is the link for today's "New Stuff" list:

Good luck!
