new stuff for Wednesday, March 12th, 2003 . . .   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #99 of 293 |
Here is the second installment of the items we purchased mostly at
the "National Gun Day" and "Show of Shows" in Louisville a few weeks
ago.

I bet you were taken aback by our last "New Stuff" message on March
6th which contained no text at all, merely a link to the page. . .
believe me it was not supposed to have been that way at all! That
message was to contain a bunch of information concerning what we have
been doing and several stories that I thought would interest and
inform you as well. However it seems YahooGroups was having some
internal problems and when I clicked "send" nothing happened except
that the text I had just spent so much time working on completely
disappeared into a void. I then re-typed everything (or nearly) and
hit "send" again and the very same thing happened. . . poof!
Frustrated, I assumed that tere was something wrong with the server
and so input ONLY the link and hit "send" and of course that time it
worked! Grrrr!

What I had wanted to tell you is that we had been completely out of
long shipping-boxes ever since just before we had closed for our trip
and I was assured by our box-company that a new shipment would arrive
by Feb. 20th. Due to rain they were actually not delivered until
last Wednesday, March 5th, so we were a little behind in shipping
items previously ordered but catching up fast (we have since caught
up completely).

We have also received an influx of orders for "little stuff" like
ammo and accessories during the past two months, resulting in us
being completely SOLD OUT of several hard to obtain calibers such as
7.5x54 French MAS, 7.5x55 Swiss, 7.63 Broomhandle Mauser and 8x56R
Steyr ammo (most of which we will be unable to replace). Our
inventory of other calibers still in stock has been seriously
depleted as well, so much so that we are considering discontinuing
the sale of ammunition completely (we only handled it as a
convenience to our customers anyway, not as a cash-producing
commodity).

Empire Arms has also purchased a number of Soviet Ministry of Defence
marked (MO / date) refurbished Model 91/30 and updated 1891 Dragoon
rifles and have listed and sold many without any fanfare at all on
our web-page at http://www.empirearms.com/MO-9130.htm . These are
fascinating historical items previously unavailable in ANY quantity
at all. That page is pretty sold-down at the moment however I will be
adding more of them to it forthwith as soon as the opportunity
presents itself.

Those of you who collect the Russian-captured German 98k's with non-
scrubbed markings will be glad to know that we have hand-picked and
acquired a small quantity of them that we are adding 10 or twelve at
a time to our 98k page at http://www.empirearms.com.Nazi-98k.htm
though we have only enough to last us a couple weeks at best before
we will be sold out yet again.

Anyway, without any further ado, here is the "secret site" web-page
containing our "New Stuff" for today:

http://www.empirearms.com/031203.htm

We urge those of you who have not read our "Terms of Sale" page in
awhile (or ever) to do so now. It is located at
http://www.empirearms.com/terms.htm and nearly ALL of the questions
we get asked in emails and phone-calls can be easily answered by
perusing that page.

Well, good luck, and GOD BLESS AMERICA!
