Yes, it has been awhile (Dec. 26th) since we last posted a "New
Stuff" page.

The reasons being mainly illness in the family, but also my schedule
has been so erratic that to put out a list and not actually be here
to respond to it or ship items sold from it would be counter-
productive.

We do hope to do another "New Stuff" list immediately after my return
from a planned trip to New York on the 28th or 29th, and yet another
soon afterwards.

The last time we announced exactly WHEN a "New Stuff" page was being
published the responses CRASHED Mindspring (at the time the largest
internet server by far for the entire Southeast) for over three
hours, and we literally had over five hundred orders for the very
same firearm (which meant we had to send one "YOU GOT IT" message and
over five hundred "Sorry. . . it has been sold already" messages).
Needless to say, few were pleased with that debacle. Believe me. . .
I do NOT want to repeat that disaster!

We are down to (aside from the ones listed on our 98k-page at
http://www.empirearms.com/Nazi-98k.htm) exactly ONE CRATE of 98k
rifles remaining from the over 2,600 that we have offered (and sold)
since September 2002. This crate is not accessible at the present
time, as there are several full and empty crates of other types of
rifles stacked atop of it and there is no place to put those rifles
so the crate can be unloaded or even examined, however when it can be
accessed we will let everyone know.

Is there MORE 98k's coming from Russia? I have no idea at the
present moment, but will no doubt be offered the "cream of the crop"
(as usual) if that does indeed come to pass. I do not recommend that
you "bet" on "more, cheaper" rifles appearing from this area, as a
lot of them I have seen offered for sale I would neither buy nor sell.

As always we are EXTREMELY STRONG BUYERS of decent milsurp firearms
from a number of countries. If you are thinking of selling one or
more milsurp firearms (or even an entire collection, no matter how
vast) EMPIRE ARMS are always the "higher buyers" for this type of
item, and we routinely receive from three to eight firearms per day
in the post or via UPS. Our offers are almost NEVER turned-down and
to date we have purchased 100% of all firearms shipped to us (in one
case our offer was not accepted, only to have the same folks accept
our original offer for the very same guns six months later after
finding out that nobody was willing to pay a dime more for them).

Firearms can be legally shipped to us (being a licensed dealer) and
if our offer is not accepted (and that has so far only happened once)
we will gladly pay the return shipping.

Note that EMPIRE ARMS does NOT buy anything "blind" or makes deals to
purchase ANY item that we have not personally seen.

Even though it may seem that we have (by monitoring out web-site)
little to nothing going on we are kept constantly busy with mundane
matters of doing business (including several dozen orders for 98k's
in a week. . .
