Managed to complete the 26.2 miles in 4 hours 54 mins ! It was a hard
slog in that heat  but  I did it !
So thank you to all of you  who have donated to my charity "Jeans for
Genes" I have raised over £800

There's no such thing as a free lunch but there is free waterskiing on
Thurs 26th April from 11am onwards.

The club are running an instructor training course with an exam/test on
that date - we need a few volunteer beginner waterskiers that will be
given waterski lessons by our budding instructors.

Sounds good. I think that we learnt a lot from the first slider build
and I am happy to co-ordinate some proper research into this and pass
the findings onto the comittee.

Last I heard was that in principle the club are agreeable to there
being a slider. It has been talked about at length and there is some
interest from members. What it needs really is for some member(s) to
step forward and take on this project in terms of

Design ( not wishing to repeat the unhappy experience of the last
slider at Ivy).

Team - who is going to build it

Costs - overall budget & how it will be funded.

Hey guys, liking the new website!

Shame the lake isn't open today the weather is so good!

Has anyone suffered from sickness since being in the lake.. have felt
physically sick with temperature since getting out of the water on
sunday! may just be a bug induced by getting frozen at the weekend! ;o)
