Last I heard was that in principle the club are agreeable to there
being a slider. It has been talked about at length and there is some
interest from members. What it needs really is for some member(s) to
step forward and take on this project in terms of

Design ( not wishing to repeat the unhappy experience of the last
slider at Ivy).

Team - who is going to build it

Costs - overall budget & how it will be funded.
