Suggest doing something slightly different this week - riding from Colinton
but not in the Pentlands. I've gone for Tuesday partly because it's an extra
to the semi-regular Wednesday Pentlands run and partly because Wed night
doesn't suit me.



Basic plan is to meet at usual place (Tennis Courts on Westgarth Avenue) at
6.30 on Tuesday and head out for about 2-3 hours, probably heading down the
Water of Leith towards Slateford and Murrayfield, over to Barnton and back
via Maybury and Currie. It's about 80% offroad and while a lot is on
Sustrans-type routes (old railways, canal paths etc) there should hopefully
be enough "proper" offroad riding to keep people happy.



Please bring some "commuting" style lights as it could take us up to 9 or
9.30 and there are some road sections in the route (particularly towards the
end) - sunset isn't until 2200 but if it's overcast it can get a bit dusky
by 9.30 so better safe than squished!
