Long post alert!!

Unfortunately due to Les's ill health & Stu's busy life we have been
unable to set up a calander meeting this year. In an effort to try &
get something organised & keep the social side going I will try &
organise another D&G weekend (not a designer label) as I have in
previous years.

The format of the weekend has been travel down on the Friday afternoon/
evening. Camp in Dalbeattie vicinity (nice camp site). Ride
Kirroughtree on the Saturday & Dalbeattie/Mabie on the Sunday. With BBQ
& a few beers on Saturday night. Camping not obligatory & some have
opted for B&B.

Lifts can often be arranged for those without cars & I'm sure you could
borrow a tent & between everyone else we'll have the cooking kit etc.
So basically no excuses.

Rides are generaly leisure rather than race pace however this is up to
whoever turns up (Paul did a V fast blast round Mabie himself last
year, as well as roll round with the rest of us)

I generaly prefer June for weather reasons but the calander is busy
this year. 31st May is 10 under the Ben, 7th/8th is World Cup &
14th/15th would mean three weekends away so possible date is 21st/22nd
of June as 28th/29th is the start of school holidays which mean many
can't make it & campsites fill up.

So is any one interested? If so please reply (remember your contact
details)& I'll see if its a runner & we can debate the date and format.
