Amazing adrenaline rush and all light and
floaty and heavy and rattly and swoopy. All over too soon, but we
couldn't be bothered going back for more so headed to the Hub for
tea.
Stu, Glad you had a good one. As I'm back in town and had to pick up my
wheel rebuilds I couldn't resist having a spin at Inners last night even
though it was precipitating it down. Only had a limited pass so rode to the
quarry then took a right along the fire road back to Nadgers. Had thought
about a "double do" but discovered a push up which allows you to repeat the
drop offs and yumps section.
After the 3 drop offs (can only manage 2) and upy downy section you come to
a break point with fencing designed to reduce speed. At this point instead
of bearing left and continuing along the normal route take a right along a
gently ascending track which heads for the forest wall. Here you have to
push for about 50 yards up ( Steep but short) the old Red rough and ready
descent bringing you out a few yards before the Nadgers start-then do it
all again.
All good fun in the dusk and damp and bodes well for an occasional Night
ride as I take your point regarding mixing and matching the stuff we know
( and possibly bits we dont).
I'm out ridiculously early on Sunday putting the finishing touches to the
Cloish ride. Let me know if you want me to organise this on the 27th or
some other time as per my previous mail.
