Jacina suspended
Rochester Americans forward Greg Jacina was handed a one-game suspended on
Wednesday as punishment for a check from behind in a game on Friday.
The Panthers' prospect was ejected in the final minute of a 4-2 loss to the
Cleveland Barons after he barged into forward Riley Armstrong in the corner.
Armstrong was not injured.
Jacina must sit out Friday's 7:35 p.m. home game with the Manitoba Moose.

Florida Panthers goalie coach Phil Myre worked with the Everblades in
Wednesday's practice. Afterward, he watched film with Panther prospect Phil
Osaer in the locker room.
Panther prospect Grant McNeill's wife gave birth to a daughter Tuesday. Elle
McNeill was 7 lbs, 6 ounces and was born at 12:43 a.m.
