If you have sailed at the BRR in the last couple of years during the winter season, most likely you met Dominique Vallee.

Preregistered for the event, I was disappointed to see her name removed from the entrant list by the end of the first day in Ulsan, Korea. Guess she didn't officially register at the event site. I knew she was having trouble getting gear for slalom rascing after losing a deal with Edourdo because what had been promised her was not going to arrive in time. This morning I got this email:
I am sponsor by Exocet and I got Neil Pryde rig from Notik shop in Brest (I have the sail until June 15) so I will have to find another deal after.
After driving 6 hours from Brest to Paris, Flying Paris to Amsterdam, Flying Amsterdam Seoul, I took the bus to the Gimpo airport from Seoul airport, Flying Gimpo to Bussan and taxi from Bussan to Ulsan... I finally arrive for the PWA opening ceremony last night exhausted. Gul was already here.
Today May 13, light wind shifting ... thunderstorm... so no race. Rain and cold
The shore break is about 1.50m and the wind is pretty light. I sail with 7.8m with the 105 exocet.
I broke fewwww batten in the short brake but seems that any other sailors had spare batten ???!???! Some really nice Korean guy fix it (but unfortunalty did make a hole in my sail in the main panel :(((().
Whatever, everything should be ready tomorow.
Keep in touch!
P.S. Another of the "BRR Girls" who raced last lear on the PWA and is competing this year is Gul Tercan.
