I am finding myself trying to body english the forecast models,
trying to create and move wind to where we want it. There are hints
of wind, our seabreeze trying to align in the next few days, but
north carolina just seems to have the good looking local stuff on
the maps.. not sure if it will be real or what it is like up there,
but it keeps giving them 20-25 out on the cape. My last(and only)
trip there, i left jupiter early afternoon by car and was sailing up
there the next morning.. NE florida coast tries to get sideshore
sse very late in the day.
On a non sailing note, i found myself high atop the ladder trying to
hold a sheet of plywood at just the right location to then screw in
place... just glad to be here and not the hospital, i will wait to
try that one for when i rerent the drywall lift in a few days... the
plywood is back on the ground with me..
Best wishes, john in jupiter
