One of the best things you can do promote safety while cycling is to participate in tomorrow's Ride Of Silence starting at 6:00pm at Fort Walton Beach Landing. We had a good turnout at last year's inaugural event and with your continued support we can do more to honor our fellow riders that have been injured or killed while on our local roads. This ride also promotes safety awareness for motorists as well as cyclists since we all share the same roads every day. We have a special dedication this year to the memory of Sean Livesay who died while riding the streets of Niceville in 2007.

You don't have to register for this. You won't ride far and you won't ride fast. There is no T-shirt. The value in this is your involvement in a worthy cause. I hope you can come. http://www.rideofsilence.org/main.php
