Don't forget our monthly meeting at Scully's on Wednesday May 6 at 6:30pm.

We will be talking safety from several different perspectives -

*** I need to discuss some safety issues that relate to our group rides.

*** David Simpson, our safety rep, will be talking to us about how to protect ourselves from a legal perspective as it relates to bicycling on the roads. Believe it or not, your auto policy can offer you some protection when riding your bike. He asks that you bring your auto policy "declarations" page to see how well you are covered!

I will also talk briefly about a City of Destin planning meeting that happens this Thursday evening that will determine how Destin plans future bike paths extending from old hwy 98 all the way to Destin bridge. They really want inputs from us.
