1. The last Third Thursday Time Trial of 2007 will be
held on 18 October. Be warmed up and ready to go at
5:00 PM at Ranger Camp Road . The Time Trial starts
just up from where the cars are parked.



2. The fall Picnic will be CANCELLED do to lake of
participation. To date we have only received a couple
of RSVPs of interested persons. So instead we will
start the Saturday ride at Emerald Coast Coffee in
Blue Water Bay @ 8:00 am . The ride will head east on
Rt. 20 to Freeport via the S. Loop. Ride distance
will be approximately 45 miles at an intermediate to
fast pace.


If you or you know of anyone looking for a used
mountain bike in good shape I have one for sale. The
bike is a 17.5" full suspension, Jamis Dakar Comp 03.
It has 1457.8 miles on it. The rims are Mavic 717 with
XT hubs (Up Grade) and are less than a year old. It
has a new XT rear derailleur on it and a new SRAM X09
(Up Grade) rear cassette. The bike was $1280 new and
I'm asking $750. Let me know if you would like to look
at and we can make plans to get together. The only
reason Im selling is I have bought the mountain bike I
always wanted and the wife says the old one has to go.
