Hola.

There were a bunch of events during the last month, and I neglected to
schedule more trail maintenance. So we put one in the schedule for
Sunday October 15th at 2pm.

The work we did is holding up pretty well. We did a bunch of hard work
on the hill at the end of Carbo and it really paid off! Between adding
the clippings, terracing and re-routing the runoff, the hill is much
less washed out and far more fun to ride. The long downhill coming
back on Speed Demon is also much faster and far less sandy.

With the dry conditions, it would be great to get more clippings down
on the trails. I dropped a few bales of hay out there that were not
horse worthy but they have not been spread. Any contributions of
clippings or mulch will be very helpful. We also need to trim Carbo as
there are a lot of low branches that require evasive measures right
now.

If you use the trails or know someone who is not and ECC member that
does, please come out and help or spread the word.

Happy trails.
Lori Mihalcik ECC off road rep.
