John,
Good Morning America!
I'm doing just fine. Still working for UWF in Pensacola part-time while trying to be of some assistance to my wife's real estate business.
I was riding during July and August on Range Road and locally. Only 100 mi per week. But riding. Then came Ivan. My lifestyle changed and just never has been the same. I did all the cleanup work myself and came down with chainsaw elbow. Later in late October my youngest son past away from a long illness he was suffering. When you loose a son, even when it ends their suffering, it just changes you I think forever. So, then came the cooler weather and I just never got back on the bike. My interest in cycling has really changed. I ride locally, stop for a latte and bagel, read the paper and then ride a little more. More cardio maintenance and just riding to enjoy life in it's simplest form now. Spinning at the local gym since its too cold now to even ride and enjoy. I have great memories of riding with the club and events like the Tour de Ranch, TOSRV, and of course Italy with Hampsten.
Well I've got to run now. On my way to a meeting in Tallahassee for the day.
Happy New Year. Please do say hello to the guys. I owe Stamp $15.00 for dues so I can read all about you guys.
Everett

Hi! I haven’t seen you on a ride in a loooong time. How are you? I haven’t been out regularly myself but you disappeared, is everything ok? I have taken 3 or 4 giant steps backward in my cycling ability. No good excuse, I just lost stamina quickly. Anyway I just wanted to say HI, and Happy New Year, Hope to see you some time.
John
