While the combination of the biking, trash and pancakes is normally a combination I try to avoid, I make an exception every February as the Club performs a civic hat-trick by picking up trash along "our" stretch of Hwy 285, supporting the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, and getting in a bike ride....Undoubtedly, there is great civic value in riding a bike.
Here are the details:
Time: 0830
Location: Ruckel Middle School in Niceville
Activities: Ride up Hwy 285 to the trash pickup area (we'll have someone bring your shoes up to and back from the pickup area). Pick up trash and then regroup for a ride to Mossy head (Mary's loop if you wish), and then ride back in time get some Pancakes.
The Pancake Breakfast is from 0700 to 1200 so you can get them before the ride you would like as well. The Pancake Breakfast is located in the Niceville High School Cafeteria ($3.00 per person, all you can eat) adjacent to the Ruckel Middle School.
